Davao GoldenTwist Gymnastics Training Center partnered with Manila-based, PGAA S.TY Gymnastics & Sports Center, the club behind one of the biggest international invitational meets held in the Philippines, the STY International Gymnastics Cup, to organize the Madayaw Gymnastics Cup. The Madayaw Gymnastics Cup is a Kadayawan Festival–accredited sports event held annually every August in Davao City since 2025. The Madayaw Gymnastics Cup is a club invitational gymnastics meet attended by some of the biggest and most respected gymnastics clubs in the Philippines.
The Madayaw Gymnastics Cup is:
● The first gymnastics club invitational meet in Davao Region with a live scoring system, displayed on a large LED screen immediately after each gymnast's performance
● Built for transparency — parents, coaches, and gymnasts can scan a QR code to view scores in real time
● Officiated by highly respected, experienced, and nationally certified judges (Gymnastics Association of the Philippines) flown in from Manila to Davao City, ensuring the integrity and credibility of judging
The event has drawn Olympic-level guests: the 1st Madayaw Gymnastics Cup welcomed Olympian Levi Jung-Ruivivar as special guest, while the 2nd Madayaw Gymnastics Cup — held over two days — was attended by Olympian and SEA Games gold medalist Aleah Finnegan.
